The closure of the Cairo University metro station on the coming Thursday and Friday.. Find out the reason
The National Authority for Tunnels announced that within the framework of implementing the works of the third phase of the third line of the metro, the Cairo University metro station of the second line will be closed.
The authority clarified that this comes to complete the implementation of the bridge works above the Cairo University metro station building, on Thursday and Friday, May 4 and 5, 2023.

The station will be completely closed by the end of operating hours on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 for a period of (48 hours), and will be restarted normally on Saturday morning, May 6, 2023.
second line
The National Authority for Tunnels confirmed that the second line will operate fully as usual from Shubra Al-Khaima station to Al-Munib station, with trains not stopping at Cairo University station during that period.
The authority indicated that the work will be carried out in full swing during the aforementioned period to return the movement of trains at the Cairo University metro station to normal.
All work is being intensified to finish the works of the third phase of the third line of the metro, to be able to receive passengers by the end of this year.

On the other hand, the third line of the subway "Green Line" announced the availability of job opportunities for "security personnel" at the stations of the third line of the subway for males only, from the age of 21 to 40 years, with a monthly salary starting from 3 thousand pounds.
