According to the new building requirements, there are a number of papers required to obtain a building permit, as follows:

1. Power of attorney to the engineering office.

2. A copy of the architect and construction engineer's licensing record.

3. A statement showing the value of costs for construction works according to the form provided for in the executive regulations.

4. A decision from a soil technician consultant in the case of building 4 floors or a cost of more than one million pounds

5. A report on the condition of the adjacent property.

6. An approved account notes in cases of submitting an insurance policy of 4 floors or more or more than one million pounds.

7. 3 copies of the engineering drawings approved by the engineer or the consulting office.

8. Site validity certificate for construction in terms of planning.

9. The insurance policy in the case of the required business of 4 floors or more or more than one million pounds.

10. Documents proving the ownership of the land and real estate (a publicized contract).

11. A copy of the construction drawings approved by the Egyptian Syndicate Office.

12. Consultant certificate issued by the Association.

13. A certificate of coordinates and all required approvals from any authority, whether antiquities, irrigation, drainage, or endowments.

  Steps to obtain a building permit:

Submit the license application to the local council to which the license belongs.

Determine the location of the house or plot of land on the map by the village council specialist.

Go to the city council and pay the fees for issuing the site validity declaration, on the basis of which the number of floors allowed is determined, according to the width of the street.

After receiving the validity statement, go to an engineering office and ask it to make architectural and construction drawings

* Fees required to obtain a building permit

The fees required to obtain a building permit, within the new building requirements, are EGP 2,000 per 100 meters in the city, as follows:

1. The tax for submitting a license application is 60 pounds.

2. Pay 10 pounds for each apartment, unit, or house.

3. Paying the license fee of 2% of the construction cost (area * cost), and the price per square meter is calculated at 500 in the city.

4. Pay the license issuance fee of 50 pounds for each role in the city.

5. 114 pounds to 120 meters.

6. 200 pounds for more than 200 meters.

7. 10 pounds fees for examining the application.
