For $320 million.. Qatar offers to buy the Ramses Hilton Hotel

The Qatari Al-Kuwari Group submitted an offer to the Arab International Company for Hotels and Tourism to purchase the Ramses Hilton Hotel in Cairo.

Qatar made an offer of about $320 million to buy the Ramses Hilton Hotel in Cairo, and the company that owns the hotel is still in the negotiation stage with the Qatari investor until now.

The value of Qatari investments in Egypt amounted to $2.7 billion in 10 years, while it amounted to about $121 million in the first quarter of this year, while remittances from Egyptians working in Qatar increased by 15% during 2020-2021 to $1.5 billion.

Over the past few months, Saudi and Emirati sovereign funds have bought shares in some of the best and most profitable Egyptian companies from listed companies, at prices some consider "attractive" amid the suffering of financial markets in emerging countries, including Egypt.
