The Urban Communities Authority has put up many shops and pharmacies in a public auction for citizens, explaining all conditions, unit prices and payment methods.

The New Urban Communities Authority, represented by the Ministry of Housing, announced the launch of (4) commercial stores + (1) pharmacy, with areas ranging from (15 square meters to 33 square meters).

the Ministry of Housing, announced the launch of (3) administrative and professional units with an area of (33 square meters) per unit in the commercial markets in the different regions of the city, New Sohag.

Price of the booklet

The New Urban Communities Authority set the price of the booklet of conditions and specifications, which is requested from the headquarters of the agency, and this is in return for paying an amount of 299 pounds for each store, pharmacy, or unit.

Auction date

The auction session will be held at twelve o’clock in the afternoon at the headquarters of the New Sohag Authority on Wednesday, 8/19/2023.

The method and conditions for paying the prices of the shops offered

- The New Urban Communities Authority indicated that it is necessary to pay the auction entry insurance in the amount of (25,000 EGP) twenty-five thousand pounds for each store or pharmacy, by the date of the auction session.

- The payment of (10% + 1% administrative expenses + 0.05% in favor of the Board of Trustees of the value of the auction shall be completed immediately after the award.

- The deposit for entering the auction shall be paid in the amount of (10,000 EGP) ten thousand pounds for each administrative and professional unit, by the date of the auction session.

- This is in addition to completing the payment of 25% and 1% of administrative expenses + 0.5% in favor of the Board of Trustees of the value of the auction upon awarding. and (5%) a maintenance deposit to be paid within a month and before receipt, and the rest is to be paid in easy installment systems.

- Those wishing to enter the auction can inspect it in person during working hours to receive it. The auction is also subject to the provisions of Law No. (182) of 2018, the law regulating contracts concluded by public authorities.

Implementation of 5,708 housing units from "Housing for All Egyptians"

On the other side, Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, followed the developments of the executive position in the projects of the new city of Qena, which is one of the urban communities implemented by the Ministry of Housing in Upper Egypt on an area of about 29,485 acres.

Stressing the need to advance work on the projects currently being implemented in the city, especially facilities and services projects.

Engineer Ayman Rashad, head of the New Qena City Development Agency, explained that the housing units in the city, within the framework of the presidential initiative housing all Egyptians, the social housing axis, included the implementation of 5,708 housing units.

It included the implementation of 5,708 housing units, and another 912 housing units are being implemented in the project. Also, 2,145 residential plots were handed over, and 6,803 residential plots were allocated for social housing, and 143 plots for premium housing.
