Surprising tourist offers for Egyptians and foreigners at this time

Although Egypt has entered the winter season, it is a tourist destination for many tourists, whether inside or outside Egypt.

Mohamed Fella, a member of the "Tourism Investors in the Red Sea" association, said that most of Hurghada's hotels have started to offer special price offers to attract Egyptian citizens to be there during the mid-year vacations for this year.

For its part, hotels welcome the presence of Egyptian tourists during those holidays, especially since the period from mid-January to the second half of February witnesses a significant decline in the tourist movement coming from abroad to Hurghada.

There is no difference between Egyptians and foreigners in hotel prices

It must be noted that there is no difference in hotel prices between foreign tourists and Egyptian citizens. On the contrary, the offers offered by hotels to attract Egyptians during the mid-school holidays are lower than the prices obtained by foreign groups, pointing out that there is also no difference in the level of Services provided by hotel facilities to all guests.

Occupancy rates in Hurghada hotels

A member of the Tourism Investors Association in the Red Sea said that the occupancy rates in Hurghada hotels after the end of the New Year holidays amounted to about 50%.

He pointed out that these percentages will continue as they are until the mid-year vacations, which will witness an increase due to the presence of Egyptian citizens.

He explained that the percentages will rise significantly during the month of March next due to the spring holidays, which thousands of foreign tourists are keen to spend those holidays with.

It is noteworthy that Germany ranked first as the country that sent the most tourists to Egypt during the past year.
