Within a few years, the Egyptian state was able to redraw the country's urban map under the title "The New Republic", which relies on "capitals and smart cities". The "New Mansoura" city comes to the fore, which is distinguished as a smart coastal city of the fourth generation cities.

The new city of Mansoura is considered one of the development arteries on the northern coast of Egypt, as it contains all facilities and services such as government areas, markets, places of worship, cultural and entertainment areas, special areas for restaurants, and central parks with a coastal view of the Mediterranean Sea for a length of 15 km.

Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurates the new city of Mansoura 

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurates the new city of Mansoura, which is the tourist bride of the Delta, as it is the first city of the fourth generation in the north of the Nile Delta.

The new city of Mansoura, which mediates the governorates of Dakahlia, Kafr El-Sheikh and Damietta, comes within the framework of a group of new smart cities that the state has embarked on constructing throughout the republic.

The new Mansoura city is one of the fourth generation cities that the state has tended to establish during the current stage, to maximize the benefit from its important geographical and strategic location, given its location on the Mediterranean coast.

Information about New Mansoura

1. New Mansoura overlooks the Mediterranean Sea with a length of 15 km.

2. The new city of Mansoura is the green lung of Dakahlia Governorate and the tourist cities, with investments estimated at about 45 billion pounds for the first phase only.

3.    New Mansoura mediates 3 governorates "Dakahlia, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Damietta" and is located on the coastal road next to the city of Gamasa, 54 km from Old Mansoura, which will be linked by an electric train that will reach the two cities in less than 15 minutes only.

4. The Republican Decree was issued to build the city in 2017 with an area of 5104 acres, and the Republican Decree of 2018 to add another 809 acres.

5. On August 22, 2017, the Minister of Housing laid the foundation stone for it.

6. The new Mansoura city was implemented in four phases, the first phase of which is about 2063 acres.

7. In designing and constructing the city, the state took into account a variety of housing projects to suit all income groups.

8. The project for the construction of a number of villas in the city includes 1149 villas with 2103 units containing modern and classic villas, and separate, connected and semi-attached villas, with an average area of 240 square meters per floor.

9. The city also includes the “Egypt Housing” project, in the new city of Mansoura, with 4,704 housing units (196 buildings).

10. The “JANNA” project in New Mansoura contains 11,232 housing units (468 buildings).

11. The city includes 58 buildings in a housing project for all Egyptians, with a total of 1392 housing units.

12. The total area of New Mansoura City is 7211.35 acres.As for the city's corniche project, which is 15 km long, it is being implemented in several phases.

13. The first phase of the New Mansoura Corniche includes the development of 4.2 km with an average width ranging from 45 to 90 meters.

14. The Corniche includes a walkway, cafeterias, pergolas, benches, bicycle lanes, playgrounds, reading and internet areas, children's play areas, toilets and green spaces.

15. The current sea water desalination plant project was implemented on an area of 24 feddans with a production capacity of 160 thousand cubic meters, the first phase of which has a capacity of 40 thousand cubic meters.

16. The new Mansoura city power transformer station has also been implemented with a total capacity of 500 MVA, the first phase of which operates with a capacity of (300 MVA).

17. The station was built in the southern region of the city on an area of about (14) acres to feed the different areas of the city at a cost of about 440 million pounds.

18. The station consists of the control building, the Gis 220 building, the transformers, the gantry, the missions, the outer wall, and more.

19. This station works to feed the entire new city of Mansoura in the future.

20. New Mansoura is not alone in Dakahlia, as the projects that are being implemented are huge, on top of which is "a decent life"  Dakahlia is preparing to inaugurate a number of presidential initiative projects in the villages of the Sherbin Center, A project with a cost of about 7 billion pounds.
