The concerned agencies in America have begun to assess the risks that may arise from the leaking of classified American documents regarding the war in Ukraine and a number of countries allied to Washington, at a time when Moscow commented, on these leaks.

Egypt supports Russia

“Washington Post” newspaper revealed that one of the leaked classified US documents stated that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi ordered the production of 40,000 missiles to be secretly shipped to Russia, in addition to plans to supply Moscow with artillery shells and gunpowder, to help it in its war on Ukraine.

The document, dated February 17, stated that Sisi ordered officials to keep the production and shipment of missiles secret, "to avoid problems with the West."

Russian denied

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday denied US media allegations that Egypt secretly planned to send up to 40,000 missiles to Russia, calling them "false".

Peskov said, according to Russia Today, that these allegations fall within the context of the usual misleading reports.

Leaked classified documents

The Pentagon said it was working to identify the source of the leak of classified documents detailing the strategy of the United States and NATO to support Ukraine in the face of the Russian attack, and it was published more than a week ago on social media.

According to The New York Times, these documents include the frequency with which Ukrainian forces use “HIMARS” munitions, the schedule for arms deliveries, and the training that the West provides to the Ukrainian army.

According to these leaks, Kiev is in the process of forming 12 new brigades - including 9 brigades trained and equipped by the United States, as reported by the New York Times.

  American espionage

The series of briefings and detailed summaries opens a rare window into the inner workings of American espionage. Among other secrets, it appears to reveal where the CIA recruited human agents familiar with the closed talks of world leaders; wiretaps showing Russian mercenaries attempting to obtain weapons from a NATO ally for use against Ukraine; and what kinds of satellite imagery the United States uses to track Russian forces, including advanced technology that is barely, if ever, publicly acknowledged.
