Disasters hit America.. 17 people were killed and all flights stopped
17 people were killed recently in the US state of California due to storms and rains.
The US state of California expect more heavy rains, while successive storms have killed 17 people and prompted the authorities to issue evacuation orders in many areas.
The American "BBC" network said that the US state of California witnessed more rain, as well as an exacerbation of thunderstorms, which killed 17 people during the recent period.
Due to the high number of deaths, the US Meteorological Service warned residents of more rain in northern California.
33 million people are at risk
Officials said 33 million people are at risk from the weather, Forecasts indicate snowfall in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Concerns about landslides have increased as a result of the heavy rains that have been pouring in the region for a whole month without interruption.
All flights suspended
On a related note, all domestic flights in America were halted due to a technical malfunction.
And the Federal Aviation Administration, in the United States of America, directed the suspension of all domestic flights, until checking the integrity of flight and safety information, after a technical failure afflicted the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) system, which provides pilots with the notices they need to read before flying.
"Technicians are currently working to restore the system and there is no specific estimate for service recovery at this time," a statement from the FAA explained.
"We are conducting final validation checks and restarting the system now," the FAA said in a statement. "Operations are affected across the National Airspace System, and we will provide frequent updates as we make progress."
