The technical expert explained that the ideal method for purchasing goods online is to use a prepaid card or an electronic wallet, and not to link online purchasing sites to the bank card designated for salaries, or to the bank account that contains savings and various financial transactions, whether personal or commercial, according to the newspaper. Not only did he warn, but he also published some steps that must be followed in order to avoid falling into the trap of fraud, perhaps the most prominent of which is not putting your ID card information in any purchase, and resorting to prepaid cards or electronic wallets that contain small amounts of money.

Although deception and fraud are not hidden from anyone, in addition to blackmail attempts that have spread strongly recently, some still fall into the trap of electronic fraud, so these instructions must be followed, according to a number of experts and banks, which are as follows:

Disclosure of personal information

Do not disclose personal information or people close to untrusted parties, as fraudsters exploit this information through social engineering to achieve their goals. The same applies to banking information, which is highly confidential. Accordingly, it does not require knowledge from any party to complete the purchase process, and if the opposite happens. Bank card photocopy

Do not photograph the bank card and send it to any unreliable person or affiliated with a reliable institution.
