It is expected that within the next few hours, the new city of Mansoura will be inaugurated, which was inaugurated by a presidential decree in 2018. Work will continue on it in order to include this city within the urban revolution for the establishment of new cities.

The new Mansoura city is among the fourth generation cities, as it was implemented during the past 5 years, as President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated it on the first of March 2018, as it overlooks the Mediterranean Sea with a length of 15 km.

 The area of the first phase is estimated at 2,063 acres, where the new Mansoura city will be implemented in 4 phases. The first phase covers an area of 2,063 acres, while the area of the second phase is about 1,500 acres, and the third and fourth phases reach an area of 3,648 acres.

Investments in New Mansoura City

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, the volume of investments in the new city of Mansoura has reached EGP 45 billion for the first phase.

New Mansoura City Location

 The location of New Mansoura on the map indicates that the city is located directly on the international coastal road, covering a distance of 14 km, extending from the city of Gamasa to the Kafr El-Sheikh governorate road.

The map of New Mansoura shows that it is located within the cities of Dakahlia Governorate, but it is administratively affiliated to the New Urban Communities Authority.

Work is underway to construct an “electrified train project” to link the new city with the old one, in a time of 15 minutes.

Services

New Mansoura today has an integrated system of service centers, which has emerged as an important factor in the New Mansoura city project. Among the most prominent of these services are “commercial services”, as the first phase of New Mansoura planning includes the construction of more than 12 commercial and administrative buildings, which are classified as follows: 11 commercial areas, a luxury hotel, 8 commercial malls, 2 administrative offices, 2 fuel stations, and car maintenance.

The city also has various types of places of worship, including 3 central mosques, 12 local mosques, and an evangelical church.

Security services

The city has more than 10 security barracks, as New Mansoura now represents a global tourist destination, which requires an intense security presence in both residential and tourist areas.

Educational services

The New Mansoura scheme contains an integrated set of educational services that are not less than 20 institutions for different stages, as there are 12 kindergartens in the first phase of New Mansoura, distributed equally over all residential areas, the average area of each nursery reaches 100 square meters.

The new city of Mansoura also contains various types of schools, the most prominent of which are the Dar Misr School and the Regent British School; As for the other categories of schools, they are as follows: 7 primary education schools, 2 general secondary schools for girls, and 2 general secondary schools.

The New Mansoura Urban Communities Authority announced one university edifice, namely, the regional “New Mansoura University.” The university was established on an area of 67 acres, and the project took a location 15 minutes away from the Delta University for Science and Technology.

The New Mansoura University was famous for its international curricula, being one of the private universities, and many service buildings were attached to the campus, perhaps the most prominent of which are: the central library, the university hospital, the administrative building, the gymnasium, and the exhibition square.

The New Mansoura city plan shows in the first phase the constructions of the “medical city”, as this sector includes: the family medicine unit, the New Mansoura Hospital, scientific research centers, medical analysis laboratories, and public facilities

The New Mansoura project has been rehabilitated to include all facilities that would meet the residents' needs. These facilities are: water networks, electricity networks, natural gas networks, sewage networks, lighting poles, paved roads, and industrial projects.

This station is divided into two sites to occupy an area of not less than 25 acres: Water desalination plant The new Mansoura water desalination plant occupies an area of 22 acres, and this station plays an important role in reviving the water networks, in addition to its work in desalinating the waters of the Mediterranean.

Recreational and tourism services in New Mansoura receive great attention from officials, due to the city's expected tourist attraction. Among the most prominent of these projects is the New Mansoura Corniche.

New Mansoura Corniche The New Mansoura Corniche extends along the city's coastline of 15 km. However, the first phase of the Corniche (4.2 km) has been fully implemented. It includes: a walkway, restaurants, playgrounds, cafeterias, benches for rest, a bicycle path, a children's play area, and reading and surfing areas.

Yacht Marina The yacht marina is one of the tourism projects par excellence, as it is located directly on the New Mansoura Sea; It also includes the presence of:

Hotel services, golf and tennis courts, restaurants and cafeterias, a picnic area, luxury shopping centers, in addition to the presence of some of the new Mansoura compounds near the yacht marina, whose units have a direct view of the sea.
