Ministers from the UAE, Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain meeting today where they signing of agreements between industrial companies for multimillion-dollar projects.

13 agreements

13,000 job opportunities

The agreements provide nearly 13,000 job opportunities in the four countries.

This came at the conclusion of the activities of the third meeting of the Higher Committee for Integrated Industrial Partnership for the Development of Sustainable Economies, with the participation of industry ministers in the four countries, in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The Egyptian Soda Chemical Industries Company announced an investment of $500 million to produce sodium carbonate, with a production capacity of 500,000 tons annually.

Egyptian investments

In addition to that, Egypt Sign a memorandum of understanding to establish a strategic partnership with the Emirates Flat Glass Company, owned by the (Dubai Investments) Group, to purchase the final product.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Trade, The CFC Feed and Chemicals Company, owned by Emirati investors, announced the establishment of an industrial complex for feed and chemicals in Egypt, with an investment of $400 million.

UAE investments

The agreements also included an announcement by Emirates Global Aluminum Company to invest $200 million to establish a silicon metal plant with a production capacity of 55 thousand tons annually and to supply production to the Jordanian Manaseer Group.

Bahrain and Jordan investments

The Bahraini Alpha Biotech Company signed a memorandum of understanding for the transfer of technology, knowledge and contractual manufacturing with the Jordanian company. For the manufacture of general preparations, oncology preparations, and medical solutions, with a production capacity of 350 million tablets annually, with a total investment value of $174 million.

The partnership aims to empower the industrial sector in the four countries, increase the contribution of the industrial sector to the gross domestic product, support supply chains, reduce costs, and provide new job opportunities for competencies and cadres in these countries.
