There are about 78 nationalities that can obtain a tourist visa to visit Egypt electronically.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Tourism, in the presence of a number of ministers, to discuss the most important developments in the tourism sector.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Issa, reviewed the most prominent tourism performance indicators for the previous year, and the expected indicators in 2023.
The Minister of Tourism referred to the first twenty markets in terms of the number of tourist arrivals in 2022, and the targets from those markets for the year 2023.
Tourist visa
He said that "there are about 78 nationalities that can obtain a tourist visa to visit Egypt electronically through the website" here .
Ahmed Issa explained that work is underway to digitize entrance tickets to archaeological sites and museums, noting that 1.7 million tickets were sold in an automated manner out of a total of two million tickets sold in December 2022.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities reviewed the results of coordination with the various concerned authorities, regarding the work paths of the national strategy for tourism, to build a product that suits the tourism of the individual, before the arrival of the tourist, upon his arrival, and during his stay.
He stressed the importance of promotional campaigns for tourist areas and facilities for obtaining visas, as well as available tourism products, services and activities.
Optimization of resources
For his part, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly directed work to make the best use of what Egypt currently possesses of modern real estate wealth, in the new tourist cities.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the tourism sector to the Egyptian state, especially that Egypt has promising opportunities to advance this sector and benefit from it optimally.
On the other hand, the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority organized an introductory visit for a number of representatives of major tour operators to the Egyptian tourist destination, one of the main tourist markets in Egypt.
March is scheduled to witness the peak of tourism, with the number of trips between Egypt and China increasing to 13 during March, including 7 trips to “Guangzhou”, 3 to “Beijing”, and 3 to “Hanzhou”.
