The Spanish ambassador to Cairo, Albaro Eranzo, said that 180,000 Spanish tourists visited Egypt last year to discover the wonders that this country abounds in.

 The Spanish ambassador said During the activities of the "Third Forum for Lectures on Egyptology and Tourism", which will be held virtually, and will last for two days, with the participation of students and professors from the universities of Luxor, Minya, Zagazig and the Spanish University of Malaga.

He pointed out that before 3 years ago, started (Lectures on Egyptology and Tourism), which is a group of free lectures in Spanish on the Internet, followed by many people in the Mediterranean and Latin American countries.

The ambassador explained that there are 12 Spanish archaeological missions working side by side with scientists and employees of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, which contributes to strengthening the bonds of cultural exchange.

Discoveries of the archaeological

He looked forward to visiting the excavations in the tomb of Minister Amenhotep Hoy in Luxor, as well as visiting the Luxor Museum, which displays artifacts dating back to the discoveries of the archaeological mission headed by Francisco Martin Valentin and Teresa Biedman.

Spanish Ambassador Erantho said that he encourages students and professors to complete their studies in the Spanish language and learn about Spanish culture and the common history that unites the two countries.
