Royal palace tourism generates thousands of dollars
Magdy Sadiq, a member of the Tourism Chamber, said that providing information about tourist attractions helps attract different segments of tourists.
Different types of tourism
Sadiq added in press statements that there are types of tourism that tourists undertake and he knows them well, such as “burying in sand, salt, swimming in Siwa in the salt lake, and others.”
Sadiq explained that the special role of tourism is to produce a new, non-existent product that helps attract new types of tourists.
Royal palaces tourism
He pointed out that he called for the approval of the “Royal Palaces Tourism” product, which means staying inside the royal palace and living like the life of princes and kings, and that it is considered high-income tourism, and it costs thousands of dollars per night.
The member of the Tourism Chamber added that Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, approved and approved the new product, and work will be put into operation as soon as the actual studies for it are conducted, which will be conducted with the international 5-star hotel chain that will manage this type of tourism.
He pointed out that the new tourism product, “Royal Palaces Tourism,” will officially begin operation by 2028, according to the plan currently in place.
Growth in the field of tourism
Magdy Sadiq, a member of the Tourism Chamber, said that despite the successive crises that Egypt and the world witnessed during previous years, Egypt was able to achieve unprecedented growth in the field of tourism.
“Sadiq” added that Egypt worked during the period when the world was at peace to develop a mental image indicating the greatness of its civilization, in addition to transferring the kings from the Tahrir Museum to the Museum of Civilization in presidential directives to make it a global event.
The member of the Tourism Chamber explained that when the whole world heard “opera” sung in the ancient Egyptian language, it had a great impact on placing a great mental image in the subconscious minds of all tourists around the world.
Sadiq pointed out that the opening of the Rams Road in Luxor and the ceremony that was held there created a good mental image in the mind of the tourist, and as soon as the closure period caused by the Corona virus was completed, the tourists began directly visiting Egypt.
$30 billion
He continued that tourism is the fastest growing sector in the world, and that the ministry currently, after periods of deterioration as a result of various situations in the world, has developed a strategy that aims to reach 30 million tourists by 2028, with revenues of up to $30 billion.
A member of the Tourism Chamber pointed out that the Ministry aims to reach 15 million tourists by the end of the year, which exceeds the 2010 season, the most prominent in the history of Egyptian tourism, by reaching 14 million tourists.
