Place and date.. Announcing the public lottery for residents returning to the Maspero Triangle units

The Maspero Triangle area is one of the distinctive projects that the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, was keen to develop, after it was one of the unsafe slums.

After developing the area, the "alternative housing" project in the Maspero Triangle area became one of the largest slum development projects implemented by the state during the last period.

The alternative housing project consists of two towers, and each tower consists of 5 connected buildings, with a height of 18 floors, and each floor includes 26 housing units, with a total of 936 units, which are fully finished housing units, facilities and services, intended for residents of the area who wish to return again after the completion of the development.

10 elevators were provided inside the alternative housing towers in the Maspero Triangle area, to serve the residents returning to live in the project, and to provide a backup in case one of the elevators breaks down, due to the difficulty of climbing the stairs, due to the height of the towers.

The Maspero Triangle Towers project also includes the administrative tower, which consists of 15 floors, with a total of 120 units, and the residential investment tower, which includes about 134 units, with a height of 23 floors.

Determine the lottery

During the past days, the Civilization Development Fund announced that the date for conducting a public lottery to determine the roles of housing units for citizens returning to the towers in the region, was set by the Cairo Governorate and the New Urban Communities Authority, to coincide with Tuesday 12/27/2022, at ten in the morning, in the stadium, The Arab Contractors. 

Engineer Nassim Selim, implementation manager of the Maspero Triangle project, says that the reason for conducting a public lottery to house the Maspero Triangle units is due to the random distribution of housing units so that no quarrel occurs between the residents during the housing.

The required paperwork

As for the papers required for housing within the alternative housing towers in the Maspero Triangle area, they are property contracts with the Cairo Governorate, and contract papers with the Electricity Company and the Water and Natural Gas Company.
