Hamad Airport in Qatar takes fifth place among the best in the world... and the list of the worst is devoid of Arab airports

A survey from AirHelp Inc showed that Muscat International Airport in the Sultanate of Oman is the best airport in the world.

In second and third place, respectively, are Recife Guararapes International Airport in Brazil and Cape Town International Airport in South Africa, according to Bloomberg, today, Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

AirHelp Inc, a company that defends passengers by filing claims on behalf of customers related to flight disruptions, which include cancellations, delays, and lost baggage.

Every year, the company releases an analysis of more than 4,000 airports in its global database to determine the best and worst performing airports. Factors taken into account include each airport's on-time performance, as well as customer feedback about the airport's navigation, food and shopping options.

This year's survey reflects data collected from January 1 to September 30, as well as survey responses from more than 15,800 travellers.
