Mutual investment between Egypt and Uzbekistan in these fields

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that the talks with the Uzbek side dealt with continuing dialogue and mutual support in international forums.

Kilychev said that the Uzbek representative office in Egypt succeeded in organizing the visit of 25 Egyptian companies to several cities such as Tashkent, Namanjan, Fergana and Termez to discuss the possibility of implementing joint projects and holding 62 forums and business tables.

He emphasized interest in supporting trade relations between the two countries. And that the establishment of the Trans-Afghan Railway "Termez - Mazari Sharif - Kabul - Peshawar" will allow Central Asian countries to reach Egypt quickly and easily through the ports of Pakistan.

A project to build a pharmaceutical production plant is currently being implemented in the Tashkent Special Economic Zone, at an estimated cost of $20 million.

Egypt was among the first countries to recognize the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 26, 1991, and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on January 23, 1992.
