While the world is preparing to watch the first edition of the World Cup on Arab soil, amid an organization at the highest level, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the opening of the “Saudi House” pavilion in the World Cup, where it displays the history of football for the Kingdom.

A pavilion showcasing the history of Saudi football opened in Doha's West Bay ahead of the first match of the World Cup on Sunday.

The Saudi House Pavilion extends over an area of more than two football fields (18,000 square meters) and offers an immersive experience organized by the Saudi Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Football Federation (SAFF), and will host 21 different activities in 10 designated areas, including live music and a number of street performances and exhibitions cultural.

The Green Pulse takes fans on a journey through the history of football in Saudi Arabia, showcasing some of the country's most iconic goals and football heroes.

Visitors from all over the world will have the opportunity to sample traditional Saudi cuisine in the cooking area.

Meanwhile, the "Cultural District" offers an opportunity for audiences to experience the kingdom's diverse culture and folklore.

"We are pleased to welcome everyone to the Saudi House over the course of this historic edition of the FIFA World Cup," Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal said in a statement.

“We strongly believe in the power of football to bring people of different backgrounds and ages together, as well as its ability to promote diversity and inclusion,” added the Saudi Minister of Sports.

The Saudi Minister of Sports stated, "The Saudi House presents an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our diverse culture, hospitality, traditions and football history to the world during the largest show on earth."

“Thanks to Vision 2030, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is more open to the world than ever before, and wants to celebrate the first World Cup in the Middle East to the fullest and share our passion and our story with fans from all over the globe.”

The Saudi House will open its doors daily throughout the tournament between 12 noon and 12 midnight.
