Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, said that the subsidized loaf of bread will soon be priced and sold to non-ration card holders from government bakeries, in order to facilitate citizens who are forced to buy tourist bread from free bakeries, because they do not have a ration card.

Making subsidized bread available to those who are not eligible for subsidy

The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade is considering making a loaf of subsidized municipal bread available to all citizens who do not hold ration cards, to sell it in municipal bakeries at a free price outside the ration card.

1.    The maximum number of loaves of bread

Sources in the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade revealed that the maximum number of loaves allowed for each individual to buy will be determined in order to give all citizens the opportunity to purchase subsidized municipal bread through government bakeries.

This is a measure that will reduce the high price of tourist subsistence or unsubsidized bread, which is sold to citizens in private tourist bakeries.

   The loaf that will be made available to citizens is the same loaf of subsidized municipal bread with the same weight, which is 90 grams, but at a price different from the 5 piasters decided on the ration card, but in all cases, the price of the loaf will be lower than that of tourist bakeries.

Engineer Abdel Moneim Khalil, head of the internal trade sector at the Ministry of Supply, confirmed that the fodder crisis was resolved, and large quantities of fodder were released by a government decision.

The Ministry of Supply had announced offering investment opportunities in the oils sector, including 3 complexes for the production of oils, the first site in the city of "Burj Al Arab" on an area of ​​137 thousand square meters and includes an extraction plant with a capacity of 900 thousand tons of seeds per year, and a refining and packaging plant for oils with a capacity of 2400 tons annually, and a factory for the production of soft drinks with a capacity 90 thousand tons annually.

The second opportunity is in "Sadat City" on an area of 210 thousand square meters and includes the oil refinery and bottling plant with a capacity of 240 thousand tons annually, and the production capacity of the line per day is 400 tons with 2 lines, and the available energy per day is 800 tons, and the third region in "Suhag" on an area of ​​120 thousand square meters and a capacity of 240 thousand tons annually.

The Minister of Supply said that with regard to adding newborns to the neediest groups, the addition will take place within 21 days, if the individual fulfills the conditions.
