The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a new initiative to cancel the visa sticker on the beneficiary's passport, switch to the electronic visa, and read its data via a quick response (QR) code.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Cairo announced the launch of the electronic visa to enter the Kingdom, starting today, Thursday.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs had announced earlier, canceling the visa sticker on the beneficiary's passport and switching to the electronic visa and reading its data via the rapid response (QR) code.
In its statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry stated that the shift to the electronic visa comes within the completion of the procedures for developing the mechanism for the quality of consular services provided by the Ministry, to grant work, residence and visit visas.
The first stage in 7 countries
The first stage includes activating the procedure in a number of the Kingdom's missions, starting from this May, in the United Arab Emirates, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic of India, the Republic of Indonesia, and the Republic of the Philippines.

- Entering the "Enjaz" platform of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from the main interface of the electronic visa service platform.
- Select the query options icon.
- Enter all required query data correctly in their respective fields.
- Write the visual verification code accurately in the space provided for it.
- Click on the query icon to show all information and details.
Services for individuals provided by the “Enjaz” platform are:
- Verifying visas and examining applications submitted by residents of the Kingdom.
- Answering questions related to Saudi visas.
- Obtaining entry visas to the Kingdom through Saudi representatives abroad.
- Visa application for the purpose of performing Hajj and Umrah electronically.
- Pay the visa fees through the platform.
- Obtaining work visa approval electronically through the platform.
