Egyptian industries began to reserve a place for themselves among the various products in the market, to be distinguished by raising the slogan “Made in Egypt”.

During the past year, the localization of electric cars, mobile phones, car tires and other heavy industries began, for which the foundation stone was laid in Egypt.

The most important products that have secured a place for themselves in the Egyptian market, flying   the slogan “Made in Egypt”:

The Minister of Business Sector, Hisham Tawfiq, announced in a statement last year that, with the beginning of 2022, the Nasr Automotive Industry Company, affiliated to the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, And one of the companies of the Ministry of Public Business Sector, its production capacity reaches 25 thousand cars annually.

The first phone to raise the slogan "Made in Egypt"

The Mobile Division in Egypt announced in a statement, in November last year, the manufacture of the first mobile phone produced by Samsung International, so that the phone bears the slogan “Made in Egypt” after great negotiations that resulted in the establishment of the company’s factory in Beni Suef Governorate.

“Samsung” is not the first company to launch copies of its phones made in Egypt, as it was preceded by the global “Nokia” company for the manufacture of phones, announcing the imminent release of its first phone bearing the slogan “Made in Egypt” with the increase in the production of mobile phones in the Egyptian market.

Car tire production plant

The Arab Organization for Industrialization and Hill International Company signed a contract to start implementing the executive steps to establish a project for the manufacture of tires of all kinds, including tires for transport vehicles, buses, agricultural tractors, monorails and heavy equipment, to produce about 7.5 million tires annually, raising the slogan “Made in Egypt.”
