Activating cancer cells.. Beware of electronic cigarettes
E-cigarettes are less harmful than smoking traditional cigarettes, But it causes death to its smokers.
A recent study revealed the dangers of the liquids used in electronic cigarettes, which may lead to "nicotine poisoning".
The study revealed that the liquid used in electronic cigarettes may lead to nicotine poisoning.
The study explained that the health symptoms resulting from nicotine poisoning include vomiting, sweating, dizziness, lethargy, difficulty breathing, and palpitations.
On the other hand, scientists said that electronic smoking (Vaping) may "awaken cancer cells, and may cause a new wave of cancer within ten years."
And according to a report published in the newspaper “The Independent” last September, researchers at the “Francis Crick Institute” (FCI) said that “while electronic smoking is safer than smoking traditional cigarettes, the long-term health risks are not clear.”
Professor Charles Swanton, clinical scientist at FCI and chief medical officer at Cancer Research UK, says: "Vaping poses a potential threat to people's health.
The researchers' findings suggest that irritants such as air pollution cause inflammation, which is then followed by a healing process that "awakens" dormant cells that can cause cancerous mutations, and the researchers fear that vaping could lead to this as well.
