$500 million.. Turkish investment expansions in Egypt
The Turkish companies interviewed by the Prime Minister work in the fields of: developing industrial zones, spinning and weaving, ready-made clothes, sportswear, medical preparations, and electrical appliances.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting with a delegation that included representatives of Turkish companies operating in Egypt, or wishing to start new investments in the Egyptian market during the next stage.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his condolences for the victims of the tragic earthquake that occurred in Turkey, praying to God to have mercy on the victims of the earthquake, and to speed up recovery for the injured, stressing Egypt's support for Turkey and its people in these difficult circumstances.

Increasing exports from the Egyptian market
During the meeting, representatives of Turkish companies stressed the need to benefit from Egypt's position as a center for trade and investment in the African continent by benefiting from the preferential trade agreements that Egypt signed with the countries of the continent, as well as the possibility of increasing exports from the Egyptian market to Arab countries, countries of the Middle East and many countries in the world.
Turkish companies transfer their investments to Egypt
A representative of one of the companies said that many Turkish companies want to transfer their business to Egypt, and for this reason, they want to clarify some issues related to investment here.
Among them are companies that operate as industrial developers, and a number of sites are now being compared to establish their new business on them, in the Sixth of October City or Sadat City, stressing also that there is a great desire from Turkish companies operating in Egypt to expand the scope of their already existing businesses.
Turkish companies expand their business in Egypt
The Prime Minister affirmed that he welcomes and supports any efforts for Turkish companies to expand their business in Egypt, referring to Egypt's experience in allocating industrial complexes to specific industries in the Egyptian governorates.
He demanded that any proposals for expanding investments be sent to the Minister of Commerce and Industry in order to quickly discuss and and take the necessary decisions in their regard.
Representatives of Turkish companies touched on their plans to expand their business volume in Egypt, the total of which is close to $500 million in new investments, stressing the attractiveness of the investment market in Egypt.
