300 million EGP.. Investments to develop waste management in Minya

Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna confirmed that the volume of investments for waste management in Minya governorate amounts to about 300 million pounds.
Hisham Amna said, during the coming period, 3 sanitary landfills and a fixed intermediate station, as well as a mobile station, will be established in Samalout, Zawyet Hussein, Dermoas, and Mallawi.

On the other hand, the Giza governorate authorities continued expansion operations to complete and construct the new Axis 26 July.
115 properties were removed in Al-Barajil and 82 in Izbat Al-Matar.
The number of properties to be removed in the Al-Barajil area to construct the new 26th of July Corridor is about 119 properties, with a width of 62 meters, starting from the Ring Road to Al-Barajil Bridge - (Bashtil Al-Mahatta Station).
The cost of the ring road development and expansion project is about $900 million, while the total compensation that is paid to owners of properties removed with expansions amounts to EGP 5 billion.
