The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority stated that foreign investors achieved a net investment of more than 23.55 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market, while the net investment of foreigners amounted to about 5.03 billion dirhams in the Dubai market, according to Al-Bayan newspaper.

The foreign investments flowing into the local markets during the past year came at a time when the UAE ranks first in the Arab world and 19th globally, in terms of its ability to attract foreign direct investment, according to the Global Foreign Direct Investment Report 2022 issued by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The market value was distributed by 2.698 trillion dirhams for the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, and 654.45 billion dirhams for the Dubai Financial Market.
The financial markets in the country continue their efforts to attract more foreign investments by listing many companies with strong foundations and high financial solvency, in a move aimed at doubling the market value to the limits of 6 trillion dirhams during the next three years, in addition to many listed companies raising the upper limit. The percentage of foreign ownership of the largest public shareholding companies listed in the country, which contributed to the increase in the participation of international investors in the markets.
In another context, the UAE continues to expand its network of trading partners around the world by concluding comprehensive economic partnership agreements, with the conclusion of more agreements before the end of this year.
