$18.2 billion.. Egypt's oil exports in 2022
Egypt's exports of petroleum products last year amounted to 18.2 billion dollars.
Engineer Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, revealed, during the opening of the Egyptian International Petroleum Conference "EGYPS 2023", the development that took place in the petroleum sector, and the delivery of gas to Egyptian villages with a decent life initiative.
Delivery of natural gas to one million and 200 thousand housing units
Engineer Tariq Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, confirmed that an ambitious plan has been drawn up to drill many wells, to increase oil production, and quickly pump its production to the market.
He said that the petroleum sector has succeeded in developing the infrastructure, with the presence of a number of main gas lines.
He added that 8 oil refining projects have been implemented, stressing that 3 large projects have been opened.
He pointed out that a number of digital systems have been implemented that have contributed to raising operational efficiency, in addition to the delivery of gas to one million and 200 thousand housing units, and gas has been delivered to 200 villages of decent life.

El-Molla said that the Egypt International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference "EGYPS 2023" has become a destination for everyone interested in the oil and gas industry.
He added that the launch of the sixth session of the conference under the title "North Africa and the Mediterranean" is considered support for global energy supplies and sustainable demand at a very important time for the international community.
He added that gas exports from Egypt and the Middle East to Europe have increased by nearly one and a half times from last year.
He explained that petroleum products exports reached $18.2 billion last year.
COP 27 conference
Tariq Al-Mulla added that the Egyptian state was able, during the COP 27 conference, to develop a road map for the energy supply path, and this will be completed in COP 28 in the UAE.
