The value of Egyptian imports from India amounted to $4.1 billion in 2022, compared to $3.2 billion in 2021, an increase of 26.4%.

The most important commodity groups that Egypt exported to India during 2022 are mineral fuels, mineral oils and their distillation products, with a value of $1.1 billion, and fertilizers with a value of $242.1 million. and inorganic chemical products with a value of $240.8 million, salt and sulfur with a value of $91.5 million, and cotton with a value of $76.8 million.
Imported from India
During the year 2022, Egypt imported from India a number of commodities, most notably meat at a value of $669.2 million, iron and steel at a value of $538.8 million, and mineral fuels, mineral oils and distillate products at a value of $448.2 million, and organic chemical products with a value of $358.4 million, and boilers, machinery, equipment and machine tools with a value of $274.4 million.
