The Tourism Chamber sets a prescription for tourism recovery

Hossam Hazza, a tourism expert, said that the presence of low-cost economic aviation is a necessity for Egyptian tourism, in addition to opening new dimensions for Egyptian aviation in Europe, China, Latin America and other countries, and flights are regular weekly.

“Hazza” added during his interview with the “Good Morning Egypt” program on the Egyptian Channel One, saying: Cairo is full of tourists, and if there is economic aviation, it will attract large numbers, and that opening tourism dimensions with other countries will benefit Egyptian tourism, and that tourism in Egypt does not It only accommodates flights due to its borders of the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, Sudan and Libya.

A member of the Tourism Chamber explained that the procedures for maximizing yacht tourism in Egypt will be completed within half an hour as a result of new technological updates, because it is an important type of tourism, and marketing tourism with quick procedures will attract the largest possible number by targeting the tourist according to his type of culture, and providing what the tourist needs.

Facilitating procedures

He stressed the importance of facilitating procedures, whether through incentives given to aviation or others, which leads to attracting tourists, and the average tourist spending is an important point for reviving tourism, and the tourist’s impression of the quality of services provided to obtain a positive result.

He pointed out that the success of the festival can be exploited and attract the largest number of tourists, not only Arabs but from all over the world, by holding concerts for Arab or foreign singers, especially with all the preparations, hotels, etc., and holding multiple sports competitions, or international conferences such as the climate conference, and we can Continuing throughout the year in this way, performing plays during a certain time, marketing all of this in the El Alamein area, and golf and equestrian competitions, which attracts all types of tourists.

The tourism expert says that if there is desert tourism in the city of Mersa Matrouh, it can be linked with the city of El Alamein, by promoting one-day tourism that will benefit all governorates of the republic, through medical and hospital tourism, and linking archaeological tourism to the El Alamein region.

Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, issued a ministerial decision to form a committee headed by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities to discuss the general strategy to revitalize and stimulate tourism in Egypt, as well as programs and mechanisms to achieve the goals of this strategy and provide recommendations to achieve the strategic goals of the tourism industry in accordance with the Ministry’s 2030 vision.

The committee’s membership includes the CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, the heads of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Federation of Tourism Chambers, the Tourism and Aviation Committee in the House of Representatives, the Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Committee in the Senate, and the “Internal Audit and Governance” committees in both the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion and the Egyptian General Tourism Promotion Fund. Supporting tourism and antiquities, in addition to a number of tourism experts and investors in the tourism sector in Egypt.

The committee is scheduled to hold its meetings twice a year or whenever necessary at the invitation of its chairman. The committee will have a technical secretariat headed by the Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs and the Affairs of the Minister’s Office, and the membership of each of the representatives of the Tourism and Antiquities Support Fund, the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, and the Minister’s Technical Office.
