The problem of the distance between October and the New Administrative Capital was solved by establishing various transportation lines through which one can reach the New Administrative Capital from several cities, including:

1. The electric train: It starts its journey from Al-Salam City and passes through: the Administrative Capital, Badr City, Al-Mustaqbal City, Al-Shorouk City, and until the tenth of Ramadan.

2. Monorail: It is the link between Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October, the Administrative Capital, and New Cairo.

3. High Speed Train: It is the link between 6th of October, the Administrative Capital, New Alamein, and Ain Sokhna.

4. Bus lines: It is planned that bus lines will be implemented in the Administrative Capital and may operate with electricity or natural gas.

The opening date of the new administrative capital has not yet been determined, but in the current period, employees working in government agencies and agencies are being transferred, coinciding with the operation of the necessary infrastructure in the new administrative capital.
