The national project for the development of the Egyptian countryside, "a decent life", is the dream of the new republic, which brought about a quantum leap in the upgrading of all the villages and hamlets of Egypt, especially since those places suffered from marginalization and neglect for years.

The Decent Life Initiative provides many health and social services to the villages, the latest of which was the establishment of the first social rehabilitation center in the village of Barnabal, which is affiliated to the Mutobas Center in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, as part of the Decent Life Initiative.

Social Rehabilitation Centre

The Social Rehabilitation Center serves the city of Motobas, 19 villages and 187 sub-districts, with a total of 356 thousand people in the center benefiting from the services provided.

The project also provides 123 job opportunities for the youth of the village during the construction phase.

Establishment of the first social rehabilitation center in Branbal village

The center was established at a total cost of 14 million pounds, and it consists of two floors on an area of 1,600 square meters. The implementation rate has reached 20% so far, and the work is still ongoing.

The first typical market in Branbal village

The first model market was also established in the village of Branbal, which is affiliated to the Mutobas Center, as part of the Decent Life initiative.

Providing a decent and civilized life for citizens

It is worth noting that the Rabbanbal model market eliminates random markets to provide a decent and civilized life for the citizens.

The typical market is built on an area of 220 square meters and includes easy-to-remove and install packages.

Establishment of the first model market in Branbal village

The market was established, at a total cost of 3.6 million pounds, to establish the first model market in the village of Baranbal in the center of Motobas.

The market serves the villages of Branbal and Izbti, a sea and tribal bay, and provides its services to 20,000 people. The establishment of the market provided job opportunities for 152 young people, and the implementation rate reached 55%.

Achievements of the Decent Life Initiative

It is noteworthy that the Decent Life Initiative has adopted 4,741 villages, with investments exceeding 700 billion pounds.

It was able to change the lives of more than 58 million citizens in the Egyptian countryside for the better, as it covered in its first phase more than 4,500 villages, a total of 175 centers in 20 governorates.

During the year 2022, the number of government service complexes reached 333, the number of agricultural service complexes 330, the number of lighting poles 217,247, and 1,149 km of paved roads.

As for the housing units, 3,828 advanced housing units were constructed, in addition to raising the efficiency of 1,486 housing units, 256 water stations, 1,547 treatment plants, and 249 wells were drilled.
