The Urban Communities Authority is preparing to offer housing units for all 5 Egyptians, in installments over 20 years, after assigning more than 120,000 housing units to article companies for implementation, provided that part of them will be offered before the end of this year.

Coordination is currently underway between the New Urban Communities Authority, the Social Housing Fund, and the Ministries of Housing and Finance in order to determine the new offering of housing units for all Egyptians5, which is expected to be offered in the last quarter of this year.

The proposals of the units are scheduled to be, perhaps the most prominent of which are the cities of New October, May 15, Badr, New Obour, Burj Al Arab, Hadayek Al-Asimah, New Sohag, and New Assiut, and it is expected that the largest share in the offering will be for the cities of Greater Cairo.

Expected prices

With regard to the expected prices at which the units are to be offered, it may depend on each city, as the unit price is expected to range between 350 thousand pounds to 430 thousand pounds, so that the units will be made available over repayment periods of up to 20 years, depending on the age of the applicant.

The authority is also studying with the Fund to provide a group of residential models that suit the needs of customers between 75 to 90 square meters, so that these units will be delivered within 18 months from the date of allocation, while some units will be allocated in a time shorter than the specified period, as they are implemented units.

Categories eligible for housing apartments for all Egyptians 5

1- Availability of units for those who applied for housing units for all Egyptians 4 and did not withdraw the reservation advances. 

2- The priority of allocating to applicants for housing units in the fourth phase of this initiative.

3- The priority of allocation to the categories whose percentage is determined according to the law.

4- Making the remaining units available to those who have not previously acquired a housing unit, provided that the project requirements are met.

What are the conditions for housing apartments for all 5 Egyptians?

1- The applicant must be at least 21 years old.

2- The age of the applicant should not exceed 51 years. 

3- The age of the pensioners should not exceed 75 years as a maximum.

4- The applicant must not have benefited from previous offers of the state, whether they were housing units or plots of land. 

5- Evidence must be submitted that the applicant receives a salary of not less than 2,700 pounds and not more than 7,000 pounds, whether the person is single or married.

6- A document proving residency must be submitted in the nearest available new city, whether at the place of residence or place of work. 

7- It must be ensured that the applicant’s name is not in the “iScore” list.

What are the papers required to reserve housing apartments for all 5 Egyptians?

• A copy of the applicant's and his wife's national identity card (it must be valid). Marriage slip as proof of marriage.

• Children's birth certificates.

• Documents proving monthly income, net income after deductions. 

• In the event of marriage, the wife's salary items must be submitted. If the wife is not employed, a declaration proving this must be submitted.

• Receipt of payment of the deposit and registration fees. 

• Any additional documents relating to additional sources of income, such as overtime, real property or land, exceptional annuities, securities, deposits or savings accounts, or any other additional income.
