Expectations of an increase in real estate 30%.. How to deal with the high prices

The real estate market has been affected recently by the rise in the prices of iron and building materials due to the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The reason for the rise in iron prices

 The real estate developer and member of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Oser Hamad, indicated that the import operations of various building materials, most notably the “pallet” material, were affected by the rise in iron prices in Egypt.

 Increase in prices of basic raw materials

A member of the Building and Construction Division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Ahmed Ahab, said that the real estate market was severely affected by the price increase in basic materials, especially in 2022 as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, which affected Egypt through the provision of hard currency.

 30% increase in real estate prices

"Ahab" expected an increase in real estate prices by 30% during the coming period.

 He pointed out that real estate companies bore this increase and did not charge it to customers.

  He stressed that all real estate companies always calculate the percentage of risks in terms of price increases and others.

 Ahmed Ahab explained that every real estate developer is looking for different ways to continue his work in the real estate market, and the cost of real estate is calculated by experts and pricing in order for real estate companies to continue in the real estate market.

 Dalida Al-Shaer, development officer at a real estate company, said that the continuous price increase is a greater incentive for real estate developers to speed up deliveries to clients.

She indicated that the property is the safe haven for many investors.
