Egypt seeks to develop and modernize the transportation and logistics system, including means and networks, including roads, bridges, railways, sea, land and dry ports, and logistical centers, in addition to improving the river transport system, within the framework of consolidating Egypt’s position in the international trade and logistics sectors and transforming it into a global center for trade and logistics, in addition to stimulating the environment. Investment.

Giant projects

The analysis showed that the plans were translated into the implementation of a number of important and giant projects, as Egypt developed many short and medium-term plans and programs within the framework of the available capabilities and the relative advantages of the Egyptian ports on the Mediterranean and Red Seas to restructure, develop and transform them from mere sea ports into a global center for trade and logistics. 

He pointed out that the Egyptian government is working to improve communications between the major industrial cities and their associated transportation networks, in order to facilitate the movement of workers, raw materials, and products.

Green economy

  Improvement efforts include developing major railway and road networks, and enhancing river shipping lanes. With regard to developing the green economy and promoting renewable energy sources, Egypt has paid great attention to renewable energy generation projects, such as wind and solar energy, with several projects in the Gulf of Suez and Aswan region.

  Egypt also signed a number of agreements with major companies working in the field of green hydrogen production and development, which enhances the development of renewable energy technologies in the Egyptian state.
