The volume of investments directed to the petroleum sector for the Suez Governorate in the year plan 2023/2022, directing investments worth 8.5 billion pounds to the petroleum sector at a rate of 60.7%.
EGP 2.1 billion for transport sector
The transport sector amounts to 2.1 billion pounds, or 15%, and the investments of the higher education and scientific research sector amount to 872 million pounds, or 6.3%.
EGP 522 million for health sector
522 million pounds pertaining to the Suez Canal, or 3.7%, the health sector pertaining to 470 million pounds, or 3.4%, and investments amounting to 1.5 billion pounds pertaining to other sectors, or 10.7%.
The most important targeted projects
The most important targeted projects in the higher education and scientific research sector are the establishment of Galala University, the establishment of the University Hospital at Suez University, the establishment of the University City building at Suez University, in addition to the establishment of a central laboratories complex for the Faculty of Science at the university.
