The cost of the first phase of the project reached 585 million pounds, while the cost of the second phase reached 800 million pounds. 

 The Arab Contractors and Edex International Engineering and Construction companies entrusted the implementation of the project, under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Cairo Governorate, and the Ministries of Housing, Water Resources and Irrigation.

When was the project started and what works have been completed? 

The project was implemented in September 2019, and the implementation of the first and second phases, which included:

The first stage: The first phase is the starting point of the project, and it included green spaces in addition to the project's basic facilities; like:

19 buildings divided into 62 stores, 5 cafeterias, and 5 restaurants. 

3 grandstands with a capacity of more than 1,000 people

Implementation of 19 buildings divided into a floating restaurant, 3 cafeterias, and 63 shops

And the implementation of 9 stands with a capacity of more than 2,500 people

Two theaters with a capacity of about 1,700 people

Recently, work is underway to finish the third phase of the Ahl Masr Walkway project, Corniche El Nile. Moreover, the government is now in the process of implementing a fourth phase of the project in Zamalek.
