Creating job opportunities.. Know the map of investment projects in the Suez Canal
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with several high-ranking officials and leaders in the country, to reveal the importance of investing in the Suez Canal and strengthening industrial efforts in it during the coming period.
The meeting dealt with a review of the activity and projects of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Hassan Abdullah, Acting Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, and Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing and Utilities and urban communities, Dr. Hani Swailem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Walid Sami, head of the General Authority for the Economic Zone of the Suez Canal, and Major General A.H. Hisham Sweifi, head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.
· Focus on projects in the Suez Canal Economic Zone
The President drew attention to the need to focus the strategy of projects in the economic zone of the Suez Canal on investments aimed at settling technology, possessing industrial capacity, and providing job opportunities, within the framework of the comprehensive development process at the level of the Republic, as well as providing electric power supplies in this framework, in addition to strengthening efforts Existing to attract foreign investments to the economic zone of the Suez Canal in the field of clean energy production, in order to maximize the benefit from the strategic and vital location of the canal, which contributes to becoming one of the leading and attractive areas in the world in this emerging industry.

During the meeting, a map of investment projects in the economic zone of the Suez Canal was presented, and the existing efforts to promote them through:
1- Various industrial zones to be established in the zone in cooperation with foreign partners.
2- Reviewing the industrial sectors targeted in this regard.
3- Efforts to localize new and renewable energy projects and green fuels, especially green hydrogen and green ammonia projects, in cooperation with foreign partnerships, to benefit from the fruitful results of the Sharm El-Sheikh International Climate Summit COP27 in this context.
