86 Injured and wounded.. a horrific terrorist explosion hits Turkey
The death toll from the explosion of Istanbul Street in the center of Istanbul, Turkey, has risen to 6, and more than 80 others were injured, in an attack that the authorities said was carried out by a woman.
Terror responsibility
Although no party has claimed responsibility for the explosion, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described it in his first comment as a "terrorist" who was carried out with a bomb, stressing that terrorism will not reach its goal.
According to Turkish political analysts, the assignment of 5 public prosecutors to the investigation, and the prevention of media coverage, reveals the weight of the explosion.
Some of them indicated that Turkey is being targeted by the Kurdistan Workers Party, whose branches in Syria and Iraq are receiving strong military strikes from Turkey, as well as by terrorist groups in northern Syria, which are not satisfied with the Turkish presence there.
