The Export Council for Building Materials, Hands, Metal Industries, Construction and Building announced the increase in sector exports in 2022 by 6% compared to the exports of the previous public sector.

According to the monthly report of the council, the first 10 countries imported from Egypt came during the year 2022 as follows:
• The UAE is worth $ 888 million.
• Canada worth $ 859 million.
• Saudi Arabia $597 million.
• Italy is $ 588 million.
• Spain worth $ 371 million.
• Libya worth $ 282 million.
• Turkey worth $ 221 million.
• America worth $ 175 million.
• Ghana worth $ 163 million.
• Sudan worth $ 136 million.
The monthly report of the Export Council for Building Materials, Hands and Metal Industries revealed that Egypt's exports of "cement" increased by 44% during the year 2022, to record 670 million dollars, compared to 465 million dollars during the year 2021, when exporting about 77 countries was exported.
The monthly report issued by the Export Council for Building Materials, thermal and Metal Industries showed that 10 countries acquired 76.8% of Egypt's total exports of cement during 2022, at a value of 514.395 million dollars, led by "Ghana" at about 148.578 million dollars compared to 68.257 million dollars in 2021 , 118%growth.
"Ivory Coast" came second in the list of countries importing Egyptian cement, with a value of 84.783 million dollars during 2022, compared to 66.206 million dollars, with a growth of 28%.
The value of Egypt's exports from cement to "Cameroon" by 265% to record 64.406 million dollars compared to 17.668 million dollars, and to "Palestine" by 117% to reach 26.289 million dollars, compared to 12.119 million dollars.
The value of Egyptian cement exports to "Gabon" jumped by 829% during 2022 to $ 21.011 million, compared to $ 2.261 million during 2021, and increased to "Guinea" to $ 20.43 million, compared to 7.501 million dollars.
