The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia comes second in the list of countries investing in Egypt, which reflects the volume of investment and the joint economy between the two countries.
Dr. Abdel Nabi Abdel Muttalib, an international economist, said that Saudi investments are among the largest in Egypt.

He pointed out that investment indicators show that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranks second in the list of countries investing in the Egyptian market.
The value of Saudi investments amounted to about 6.12 billion dollars, distributed over 6017 projects in the fields of industry, construction, tourism, agriculture, services, finance, communications and information technology.
Trade exchange
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranks fifth in the Egyptian international trade list, indicating that the trade exchange between the two countries is about 4.57 Billion dollar.
Abdel Nabi added that the Egyptian administration is trying to stimulate Saudi investments to come to Egypt, especially after the effects of Corona began to recede, noting that the offer of more than 30 investment companies is one of the most important incentives for attracting investment as a whole, foremost of which is Saudi investment.
He added that Egypt has achieved clear growth in revenues and exports through the agricultural and industrial sectors, including iron, cement, aluminum and plastic. With regard to the tourism sector, Egypt annually receives between 5 and 6 million tourists, which is a success after severe damage to Egyptian tourism as a result of the Corona pandemic.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had controlled 16% of the total exports of Egyptian agricultural crops during the export season 2021/2022 by about 681 thousand tons, as well as 12% of the value by about 333 million dollars 27-09-2022, which is evidence of the strength of Egyptian exports to the Saudi market.
Saudi Egyptian Investments
In mid-2022, the "Saudi Egyptian Investments Company" was launched with the aim of "investing in promising areas in Egypt."
The new company will focus on investing in the sectors of "infrastructure, real estate, health, agriculture and medicine".
