This is the first time that an Egyptian prime minister has met representatives of Turkish companies in 10 years.
This meeting is a step to emphasize the importance of trade and economic relations between Egypt and Turkey.
Investments of Turkish companies in Egypt
The Minister of Trade and Industry talked about the meetings he held with representatives of Turkish companies over the past period, which culminated in the Prime Minister's meeting with 14 Turkish companies operating in various investment and commercial sectors.
He explained that the investments of Turkish companies in Egypt exceed $2 billion.
