President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi seeks to bring about a real renaissance in the country, and seeks to expand the circle of investments in Egypt through his participation in global summits.

 

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in the American capital, Washington, on Tuesday evening  To participate in the activities of the American-African summit.

  Ambassador Bassam Rady, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, revealed the details of the issues and topics that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will focus on during his participation in the activities of the American-African summit.

 

Radi said that the President intends to focus during the summit on:

1- Issues of concern to African countries in light of the existing global challenges.

 

2- Strengthening the African-American partnership to confront the food security crisis.

 

3- Facilitating the integration of African countries into the global economy, in order to benefit from the opportunities and advantages it offers in achieving economic growth.

4- Transfer of technology and spur the movement of foreign investment.

5- Holding meetings with a number of senior US officials, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, in a manner that achieves the common interests of the two countries.

6- Continue consultations and mutual coordination on regional and international files of common interest.

7- Promoting cooperation in the economic fields.

It is also scheduled that President El-Sisi will hold a meeting with elite members of the American business community to discuss ways to advance cooperation in the economic, trade and investment fields between the two sides.

The president will also meet on the sidelines of the summit with a number of heads of state and government participating in the summit, in order to discuss advancing bilateral cooperation frameworks and consultation on various regional and international issues.
