Suez Canal revenues jumped by 35 % in the first quarter of this year, to reach $2.3 billion, according to a statement from the Egyptian Presidency.

On a related level, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, signed a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Environment represented by the Industrial Pollution Control Program and Sustainable Green Industry at the Environmental Affairs Agency, and the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone.
The protocol aims to achieve joint cooperation in the field of supporting and developing the Egyptian industry in its various sectors.
