Fouad added, during his speech at the launch of the first conference of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action, that there is a diversity of projects offered to beneficiaries, such as the “goods kiosk” project for people of determination and groups that do not have a specific craft, and during the year 2022, 570 goods kiosk projects were delivered at a cost of $14. one million pounds.
Two job opportunities
He pointed out that the most important feature of this project is that it provides at least two job opportunities and the cost of its implementation is much lower than renting shops, and it facilitates its presence in different areas due to its small size, and it is delivered to the beneficiary, including the goods, after obtaining the necessary licenses from city centers or neighborhoods and the approval of the governors to implement this project in certain places.
He explained that there are other projects such as the grocery project, library, clothing store, carpentry, blacksmithing and sewing workshop, livestock project, poultry farming, livelihood boats, tomato drying and handicraft sustainability. The number of projects reached 38 thousand and 930 productive projects at a cost of 775 million pounds.
He pointed out that the second file of the axis of economic empowerment is training, as it is considered the main means to reach empowerment. Therefore, many training activities were implemented for different groups of project owners to provide them with skills, and they were funded at 4 million pounds.

He pointed out that the national program was implemented to enhance the concept of financial inclusion, which aims to raise awareness of banking and financial culture, and to enable owners of small projects to switch to means of payment and electronic immunization within their projects.
He continued, “In 2023, we aim to implement and deliver 55,000 small projects at a cost of one billion and 650 million pounds, and we aim to expand the improved breeds of livestock through two models to reach 100,000 improved heads.”
