What do you know about the new Alamein community?
New Alamein is a new Egyptian city from the fourth generation cities in Egypt, located in Matrouh Governorate, and administratively affiliated to the New Urban Communities Authority.
Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities, confirmed that the new city of El Alamein is one of the fourth-generation cities.
He added that the new city of El Alamein was implemented by the Ministry of Housing in an area that is considered the best on the Mediterranean coast, after the completion of mine clearance works, which were left over from World War II on the northwestern coast.
It is expected to be a destination for international and local tourism, and a city fit for life throughout the year.
New Alamein
The new city of El Alamein includes various types of luxurious, distinguished, social and medium housing, and it has all the services that achieve the quality of life for residents from all governorates of the Republic.
Al-Jazzar stressed the need to expedite implementation rates, adhere to the timetables set for projects, adhere to the highest possible quality in implementation, and pay attention to site coordination works in a way that befits the new city.
The beach towers area includes 15 towers whose facades are currently being completed, and 8 other towers are being implemented.
The implementation rate of one of them reached the 42nd floor out of a total of 44 floors, in addition to a housing project for all Egyptians, for middle and low-income Egyptians, and the distinguished housing project.
Various housing projects
The city includes various housing projects, foremost of which are the projects of the Heritage City, Downtown, and the Latin Quarter, where the Heritage City is built on an area of 260 acres.
The total number of establishments is about 70, including a main lake for picnics, a central garden, a mosque, a church, a Roman theatre, commercial and hotel buildings, and a cinema complex.
Downtown project
The Downtown project includes 40 luxury buildings that include 1,320 residential units overlooking the sea, with superior housing finishing specifications, and a variety of spaces.
A number of its units have already been delivered, and 24 buildings are currently being implemented in the second phase of the Downtown buildings, which include 896 luxury housing units, the completion rate of which has exceeded approximately 67%, and work is underway to complete their implementation.
The Latin Quarter in New Alamein
The Latin Quarter project, which is built on an area of 404 acres, includes 6 districts with 220 residential buildings, with a total of 12,181 units.
Among the works being implemented in the residential, entertainment, commercial and administrative compound project "Mazarine", which is being implemented on an area of 707 acres on the southern shore of the El Alamein Lakes, overlooking the beach towers.
It includes a number of models of villas, chalets, and buildings, with a total of 618 villas, 552 chalets, and 364 buildings, with a total of 8,691 units.
Distinguished luxury and social housing projects
While the distinguished housing project includes a number of new housing units, some of which have been delivered and the rest are being delivered successively.
The new city of El Alamein also includes a housing project for Egypt and housing for all Egyptians for low and middle-income people, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to make the city available to all Egyptians.
