Surprise.. Saudi Arabia announces Umrah visas without fees

Saudi Arabia announced the launch of a new visa without fees, allowing any traveler to perform Umrah in the Kingdom.

A spokesman for Saudi Airlines, Abdullah Al-Shahrani, confirmed that facilitating entry comes within the framework of Vision 2030 to attract the largest number of tourists.

This visa came after several types of visas, including tourist, and a visit visa for a Saudi friend, with the possibility of performing Umrah in an event that had not been previously announced in Saudi Arabia.

5 information about a visa to travel to Saudi Arabia without fees:

1- The visa is issued without fees when purchasing tickets for those coming to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of tourism and performing Umrah.

2- The duration of the visa shall not exceed 4 days.

3- The visa allows those coming to the Kingdom to move around, attend events, meetings and parties, and perform Umrah.

4- «The new program allows you to stay in Saudi Arabia for 96 continuous hours, and your ticket is called a "visa". This order came after continuous joint coordination between Saudi Airlines and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, and Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom.

5- The visa can be booked through Saudi Airlines to go anywhere, and also to request entry to perform Umrah.

Also, according to the system in force in one of the countries of the Islamic Cooperation Council, which is the United Arab Emirates, if you book your ticket on Emirates Airlines, you can enter the Emirates for 4 days.

The deadline for Hajj and Umrah for the year 1444

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah indicated in a statement that the deadline for applying for Hajj will be on June 25, 2023.

 At a time when it announced since the beginning of the year the possibility of Hajj for women for the first time without a mahram.

Methods of applying for Hajj for the Hajj and Umrah season 1444 :

Saudi Arabia is working to make it possible to apply for Hajj in two ways, which is the “Nesk” application for Hajj and Umrah.

As for applying through the Saudi Hajj and Umrah website, the minimum age for a pilgrim is 12 years.

1- Saudi Arabia stated that there are 4 categories for Hajj that can be applied for, with the first category starting from 10,596-11,841 Saudi riyals, and it includes housing and subsistence in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah.

2- Starting from 8,092-8,458 Saudi riyals, which includes housing and subsistence in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah.

3- Especially for Hajj prices, they will be the highest and start from 13,150 Saudi riyals, and include housing and subsistence in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah. 

4- It is the cheapest, and starts from 3,984, and includes housing and subsistence in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Arafat and Muzdalifah.
