Nashville Police Chief John Drake told “NBC” News that the shooter planned to attack several different places, saying the statement for the suspect "indicates that there was a shooting in multiple locations, and the school was one of them."
Drake said investigators believed the shooting stemmed from "some resentment" the suspect had "because he had to go to that school" as a younger person.
