Next Thursday, October 20, Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, Governor of Cairo, will inaugurate the first phase of the Cairo Bike Project.
The opening of the first phase of the project in the area will be at the top of the Tahrir Garage in front of the Egyptian Museum.
This coincides with Egypt's preparations to host the COP27 Climate Summit, and Cairo Governorate's keenness to provide healthy and environmentally friendly transportation.
During the opening, Major General Khaled Abdel Aal is accompanied by a large number of officials and international development partners.
The Cairo Bike project is the first public bike sharing system in Egypt to be implemented in Cairo Governorate.
