The Ministry of Housing, represented by the Social Housing Fund, is preparing to offer new apartments within the social housing project for low-income people. The new phase within social housing will be 18th advertisement.
17 advertisements have been launched from 2014 until now. The fund confirmed that at the present time there is no reservation for social housing apartments, but the 18th advertisement will be divided into two parts.

She added, in televised statements, that this offering will be dedicated to the area west of the airport in the New October City, which witnessed a great turnout during the recent announcement, as 13,000 housing units were offered, and more than 80,000 citizens applied for them.
Second announcement
The second announcement will be dedicated to all citizens with limited incomes, as approximately 100,000 units will be offered in a large number of new cities.
In the new offering, it will be located in New October cities, October Gardens, May 15th, New Obour City, Capital Gardens, New Burj Al Arab City and many cities in Upper Egypt.
It is expected that the opening date for booking social housing apartments for 2023 will be at the end of the year or during the first month of 2024.
Conditions for obtaining social housing apartments 2023
1. The applicant must be of Egyptian nationality.
2. The applicant for social housing apartments must be at least 21 years old.
3. The applicant should not have previously obtained social housing apartments.
4. The maximum income of the applicant for social housing apartments should not be less than 6,000 to 8,000 pounds for a married person.
5. The application for social housing apartments must be made in the province of residence or place of work.
The price of social housing apartments is 2023.
In the previous offering for low-income people in social housing apartments, an apartment of 90 meters was priced at 310,000 pounds, while the 75-square-meter apartment.
It is expected that the 90-square-meter residential units in the 2023 offering will reach approximately 360,000 to 400,000 pounds.
