President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi works to advance and develop the Egyptian governorates and provide them with the best services, as well as develop and advance the countryside in order to provide a decent life for citizens.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is visiting Sohag Governorate; To open a number of service and industrial projects in the governorate, including:

1- Opening of the Industries Complex in West Gerga

2- Opening the new university hospital

3- Inspection and inauguration of a number of projects in the village of Um Doma, as the first model village in Sohag within the presidential initiative to develop the Egyptian countryside, "a decent life".

In view of the importance of the industrial complex in western Girga, here are the most important information about it:

1 - The project is built on an area of 65 acres.

2 - The cost of establishing and implementing the project amounted to 858 million and 300 thousand pounds.

3 - The project includes 178 industrial units.

4- The project is part of the presidential initiative, "Your factory is ready with licenses."

5 - The aim of the project is to encourage industry and investment, create new job opportunities for youth, and open new horizons for economic development in the governorate.

6 - All facilities and infrastructure works have been connected to all industrial units, and landscape works have been completed in the project.

7- The Small Industries Complex in West Girga is about 7 kilometers from Sohag International Airport.

8 - The area of the industrial unit in the project is about 650 square meters, of which 450 square meters are closed buildings "hangers", and 200 square meters is an open space in front of the hangar for storage.

9- The Small Industries Complex in West Girga has administrative and service units, including "a showroom, an administrative building, a restaurant, a bank, a supermarket, a mosque, 2 sales outlets, a ground water tank and an electricity services distributor."

10- The final paving and all utilities in the project, including drinking water and sanitation, electricity, industrial security, and fire hydrants, have been completed. The electricity source for the complex has also been connected to the electricity company in Beit Dawood.
