Crowds expected on Sunday and Monday
Yesterday, Wednesday, saw crowds at the branches of National Bank and Egypt Bank, after they announced the start of the countdown to stop issuing certificates, and it is expected that the last days of the month will witness greater crowding at the branches.
Countdown started
The Central Bank of Egypt suspended work in local banks today, Thursday, and granted its employees a paid official leave, on the occasion of Police Day.
The vacation will extend until next Saturday, so that banks will resume their work on Sunday, January 29.
Thus, the countdown begins to stop issuing the two certificates in the two banks, as there are at most 3 working days left for those wishing to buy.
Break some certificates on Sunday and Monday
